SUMMER MUSIC CLASSES

Group classes begin week of June 13th

Piano Classes

Little Mozarts (Ages 4-6)
Did you know that Mozart began composing at the age of 4?
This class is filled with fun musical activities that teach rhythm, melody, and
basic piano skills.

Piano Performers (Ages 6-12)
This course for beginners is designed to get children excited about learning piano! Basic piano skills are taught, giving students the foundation they need to advance.
Group A is for ages 6-9 and group B for ages 9-12.

Piano Players: Ages 13-18
Teens who want to have fun learning piano will enjoy this class! Participants will begin with piano fundamentals and will end the summer learning to play
actual songs. No previous experience is necessary.

Piano Ensembles: Ages 8-18
Unlike orchestra and band students, piano students usually do not get a chance to play in an ensemble. Now they have that opportunity! In this class, students will learn to work as a team using the different sounds available on ARTI-ST's
digital pianos. Basic piano skills and a placement interview are required.

Group Guitar

Great Guitarists: Ages 6-12
For children who have always wanted to play guitar, this is a great way to start. Basic fundamentals and techniques give students the edge they need to be "great"!
Group A is for ages 6-9 and group B is for ages 9-12.

Guitar Artists: Ages 13-18
This class is for teens who want to learn to play! In this class for beginners, participants will learn the fundamentals and techniques they need to play
the songs they want.

Violin Classes

Violin Virtuosos: Ages 4-6
Learning violin is fun! Give your child a head-start in music with this beginner's class for young children. Students will use their new-found skills learning to play a number of catchy tunes!

Violin Adventures: Ages 6-12
This beginner's class gives students the tools they need to become successful at the most important instrument of the symphony orchestra! In addition to basic skills,
students will learn position and performance practice.
Group A is for ages 6-9 and group B is for ages 9-12.

Band/Orchestra Ensembles

Summer Band: Ages 9-18
Keep it up! This class for students who already play a band instrument is designed to keep them playing over the summer so that they're ready to go in the fall.

String Orchestra: Ages 7-18
For string players who have already been in lessons, this is a great opportunity to expand and polish those string skills by playing with a group.

Summer Group Classes (30 min.):
4 classes for $60 + $20 Registration
Free Registration with 2 classes or sessions
(Total cost for 2 sessions only $15 per class)

Summer Band and Orchestra (50 min.):
4 classes for $80 + $20 Registration
Free Registration with 2 classes or sessions
