Equipped with Kawai’s Responsive Hammer Compact II (RHCII) keyboard action with grade-weighted keys and a precise 3-sensor system, the CX202 delivers improved accuracy, control, and a realistic grand piano feel. The CX202 reproduces the expressive sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano using Harmonic Imaging™ technology, delivering smooth tonal transitions from soft pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. In addition to its core piano voices, it includes 17 total sounds such as electric pianos, organs, and strings, with Dual and Split modes for creative flexibility.
Modern connectivity features include Bluetooth® MIDI and Audio, USB-MIDI, and dual headphone jacks, making it easy to connect with apps, play along with music, or practice quietly. A built-in metronome, recorder, and lesson function with songs from popular method books further support developing musicians.
